Andrew’s clients value his strong sense of justice, loyalty and judgment, and according to him, some bad puns and ‘Dad Jokes’.
He enjoys having the challenge of unravelling and solving complex problems, and his job requires him to be both a big-picture person and detail-oriented.
Practising as a lawyer since 2000, Andrew works across all aspects of commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales and purchases, specialist contract drafting negotiation and advice, company law, and banking and finance. He also advises on offers of securities/financial products and commercial compliance requirements such as Anti-Money Laundering compliance and financial service provider legislation.
While studying history at college, he was a big admirer of Guiseppe Garibaldi, who put the greater good and to the benefit of other people ahead of his own goals. Helping others is what motivates Andrew in his role.
Andrew’s spare time involves writing short stories and novels – something he would embrace more if he won Lotto in the future.
